About the Role:
This Charge Nurse RN-Surgery position at Providence St Vincent Medical Center offers a unique opportunity to lead and mentor nursing staff in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. With multiple shifts available, you'll have the flexibility to choose your schedule and work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Led by a team of experienced nurses, this role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- You will be responsible for coordinating surgical teams, ensuring smooth transitions, and maintaining accurate records.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of surgical procedures, excellent critical thinking, and a commitment to patient safety.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse (RN) with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided upon hire.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $51.92 - $70.25 per hour, with additional compensation opportunities for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
