Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Fellow to join our Medical Surgical team at Providence Portland Medical Center. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for registered nurses with over 12 months of work experience to advance their careers and transition into a new specialty.

About the Role

As an RN Fellow, you will provide patient-focused care and work closely with experienced preceptors to develop your skills and knowledge in medical-surgical nursing. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a team that values collaboration and mutual respect.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
  • Work collaboratively with preceptors and other healthcare professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in structured curriculum and hands-on learning experiences.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • A current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • A National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (new to specialty).
