POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in assisting the Store Manager in fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store activities. This includes overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Culture

Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement in-store business and sales initiatives.

Sets and communicates clear expectations, holding the store team and themselves accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and behavioral standards.

Manages payroll and supply budgets effectively.

Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, shrink audits, inventory management, opening and closing procedures, time sheet reviews, and payroll accuracy.

Conducts all financial transactions in compliance with company policies, including cash handling, price adjustments, and merchandise management; ensures all register activities are executed accurately.

Ensures adherence to all relevant laws, loss prevention protocols, operational procedures, and controls; provides training to associates to reinforce proper practices.

Administers all operational processes including inventory receipt and dispatch, daily merchandise replenishment, and preparation for physical inventories.

Maintains visual presentation, organization, and facility upkeep that reflects the Brand's standards.

Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve set sales and productivity targets.

Trains and mentors the team to ensure comprehensive product knowledge both online and in-store.

Inspires and motivates the store team, cultivating a shared vision while exemplifying core values.

Encourages an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Communicates effectively with store teams and the Store Manager to lead positive transformations.

Customer Experience

Demonstrates, instructs, and promotes the principles of Exceptional Personal Service (EPS), providing a seamless omni-channel experience.

Exemplifies sales expectations by employing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; recommends merchandise or assists in locating items based on customer preferences.

Ensures prompt resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.

Guarantees a swift and efficient checkout experience, staying informed on policies regarding payments, promotions, returns, and security practices.

Ensures the team maintains consistent communication with clients through customer engagement strategies.

Talent Development

Assists in recruiting, hiring, and nurturing a high-performing team.

Supports, implements, and follows up on all training initiatives and programs.

Evaluates and coaches the store team on performance metrics.

Collaborates with the Store Manager to address human resources matters promptly and effectively.

Encourages team engagement by recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance.

Ensures adherence to all employment practices and policies.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to adapt to technology provided by the company.

Proven customer service skills with a strong track record in sales and leadership.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.

Knowledge of the administrative aspects of store operations.

Able to effectively communicate with customers and staff.

Regular attendance is crucial for this role to ensure adequate coverage for company objectives. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing for a significant portion of the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. for a portion of the shift.

Frequent climbing during the shift.
