The ideal candidate will exhibit a professional attitude, exceptional customer service skills, and the capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Position Qualifications
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a hospitality environment.
- At least one year of experience in a hotel front desk capacity.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Capability to manage various responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
- Experience with cash handling and adherence to PCI Compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized and professional service to all guests.
- Facilitate prompt check-in and check-out experiences.
- Address guest inquiries and collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of guest information and maintain hotel standards.
- Effectively communicate with guests and team members regarding promotions and enhancements.
- Engage in VIP guest interactions and remember guest preferences.
- Complete assignments and tasks as directed by Front Office management.
Educational Background
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in English; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Property Management Systems such as Opera.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
It is essential to adhere to attendance, punctuality, service standards, grooming guidelines, and safety protocols in this role. Responsibilities may evolve to meet the needs of guests.
