At Enviri Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate heavy equipment such as hydraulic excavators, rubber-tired loaders, haul trucks, and telehandler forklifts.
- Clean, inspect, and secure all equipment and perform minor preventative and other maintenance.
- Provide guidance and serve as a spotter for trucks arriving and departing from the process operations.
- Perform and document daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Maintain clean process operations, ensuring that both work area and equipment remain free from clutter, spills, and residues.
- Cross-train and fill in for operations staff as needed.
- Participate in pre-shift and post-shift safety and operational meetings.
- 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to speak and write in English.
- Mechanical ability.
- Good work ethic, self-motivated.
- Ability to deal politely and professionally with coworkers and company visitors.
- Ability to follow directions or instruction.
- Ability to use a computer to access training portals.
