Equipment Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all maintenance, repairs, assembly, and modifications for assigned heavy civil construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare maintenance and capital budgets for assigned equipment
- Enforce company's standard operating procedures
- Monitor schedule and budget on active equipment work
- Order parts and schedule vendor services
- Oversight of equipment maintenance records
- Conduct frequent jobsite visits and inspections
- Promote safety as the top priority by enforcing the company and jobsite safety plan, along with all safety-related regulations
- Supervise and develop skills of assigned maintenance personnel
- 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance including experience in one or more of the following equipment classes; cranes, piling & drilling equipment, and/or auxiliary equipment
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
- The above-mentioned experience can be substituted with Military Occupation Specialty experience
- Must be able to lift or carry miscellaneous equipment, supplies and parts up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat and lift for long periods of time
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work from platforms
- Must be capable of working outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind; and must be able to work for periods of up to 12 hours a day
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
