Biomedical Equipment Specialist

Job Summary:
The Biomedical Equipment Specialist will perform maintenance and repair duties under close supervision of BSI management. This role is responsible for ensuring that biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment.
- Maintain safe operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with clinicians to support patient diagnosing and treatment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on biomedical equipment.
- Collaborate with BSI management to develop and implement maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
- 0-1 years' experience or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
- Knowledge of TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA, and other applicable standards and regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
- Field-related technical certifications (like A+, CBET, CCE, or CHTM) preferred.
