Position: Shipping Clerk
Location: Aurora, CO
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Compensation: $18-21 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and package products for shipment to external clients, including assembly, packaging, crating, and labeling.
- Utilize computer systems for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functions and maintain accurate shipping records.
- Inspect and verify products according to specifications outlined in assembly builds and sales orders.
- Complete necessary documentation and enter shipping quantities into the system.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and ensure secure shipping of items.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles as needed.
- Manage inventory by pulling items for shipment and replenishing stock as required.
- Coordinate with various departments and external carriers to ensure timely shipments.
- Operate forklifts as necessary, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Assist other departments as required.
- High school diploma or GED; trade school or military experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts is essential.
- Must be capable of lifting or moving a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and overall computer literacy.
