Job Overview

Position: Shipping Clerk

Location: Aurora, CO

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Compensation: $18-21 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and package products for shipment to external clients, including assembly, packaging, crating, and labeling.
  • Utilize computer systems for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functions and maintain accurate shipping records.
  • Inspect and verify products according to specifications outlined in assembly builds and sales orders.
  • Complete necessary documentation and enter shipping quantities into the system.
  • Select appropriate packaging materials and ensure secure shipping of items.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles as needed.
  • Manage inventory by pulling items for shipment and replenishing stock as required.
  • Coordinate with various departments and external carriers to ensure timely shipments.
  • Operate forklifts as necessary, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Assist other departments as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; trade school or military experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts is essential.
  • Must be capable of lifting or moving a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and overall computer literacy.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.
