Position Summary:
As a Logistics and Market Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in aligning customer demand with inventory and planned orders to enhance service levels in the market. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing supplier capacity to ensure optimal performance.
  • Optimizing lead times and safety stock levels to meet market needs.
  • Forecasting demand to suppliers based on analytical insights.
  • Overseeing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and providing analytics that drive effective decision-making.
  • Reviewing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) settings to maximize efficiency.
  • Documenting and analyzing supply chain processes for continuous improvement.
  • Making recommendations for inventory levels by SKU, aligning with historical sales and forecasts.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and addressing anomalies to prevent excess stock or shortages.
  • Analyzing inventory mix based on market trends to optimize offerings.
  • Creating customer profiles utilizing Vehicles In Operation Data.
  • Collaborating with the IT department to establish a data warehouse with dashboards for cross-departmental access to relevant data.
  • Assisting in upgrading the MRP system to enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics, or Business preferred

Experience:
- 1-3 years in business analysis
- 1-3 years of MRP experience
- 1-3 years of data mining experience

Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in data analytics, database structures, and data mining is preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license is required for business travel.

Work Environment:
Flexibility to work beyond traditional hours may be necessary based on workload or project demands, including weekends and holidays.
