Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our fluid systems production team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of fluid components, ensuring high-quality products, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of production specialists in the manufacture of fluid components, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address production bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory control to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and quality control methodologies.
  • Experience with resource-loaded schedules, inventory control, and production planning.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering, operations, or business.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Knowledge of fluid systems, aerospace manufacturing, and quality control.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements.
