AI-Driven Biomolecule Designer

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, experience in MLOps, and a record of scientific achievement. This role will focus on developing and deploying machine learning models for protein sequence design. You will be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models for therapeutic applications.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for protein sequence design
• Implement MLOps practices to streamline the model development and deployment process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into data pipelines
• Gather and pre-process public datasets using bioinformatics tools
• Implement rigorous testing, documentation, and model benchmarking
Qualifications
• Master's degree in computer science, computational biology, physics, or other quantitative disciplines
• Experience with MLOps practices and tools including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD
• Experience in at least one ML framework (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax) and robust experience in the Python data science ecosystem
• Experience with large language models for biological sequences is a plus
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases for pre-processing and analyzing biological sequence data
