Field Service Engineer Job Overview

Orion Talent, the nation's leading military recruiting firm, is currently seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join a reputable company specializing in developing and manufacturing high-precision instruments and solutions for chemical analysis and life science applications.

Compensation Package:

$75-90k Salary, plus bonuses and additional compensation including vehicle allowance, mileage reimbursement, tools, phone, and laptop.

About the Role:

A customer-facing position requiring frequent use of industry practices, techniques, and standards to install, service, and maintain assigned systems. Strong communication skills are essential to relay technical information to clients and ensure proper preventative maintenance is completed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and maintain high-precision instruments and equipment
  • Develop solutions with clients using their current equipment or recommend additional solutions from the company portfolio
  • Perform administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner
  • Troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively
Requirements:

2+ years of experience servicing automated equipment (life science equipment preferred), degree or certifications in engineering or relevant fields, aptitude and attitude to service instruments and identify source issues, computer proficiency, and valid driver's license.
