The coordinator is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining inventory in accordance with legal standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties (listed by significance and time allocation)

Engages with patients to identify supply requirements as specified by healthcare providers, fostering strong relationships with clients. Effectively communicates relevant information to appropriate staff and documents interactions. Generates patient orders within the system and coordinates shipping schedules. Liaises with nursing and pharmacy staff to confirm the availability of supplies and delivery schedules. Oversees the procurement of all inventory supplies, adhering to established purchasing protocols. Identifies cost-effective products as recommended by healthcare professionals and adheres to company product contracts. Works to minimize shipping costs for ordered products. Maintains precise inventory records and is accountable for any discrepancies. Participates in physical inventory counts and implements inventory control measures, including establishing minimum order quantities. Monitors equipment tracking and maintenance, ensuring cost-effective rental solutions. Adheres to legal and ethical standards to protect patient confidentiality and proprietary company information. Engages in the assessment, management, and reporting of medication-related incidents and equipment errors. Completes Quality Assurance Review forms accurately and submits them to management. May assist in the delivery of medications and supplies as needed, following established purchasing guidelines. Participates in on-call duties as required. Accepts additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management.

Supervisory Duties

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, promotions, or performance evaluations.

Education and Experience Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications and Skills

If responsible for deliveries, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and liability insurance. Proven experience in effective communication, both verbally and in writing, with diverse audiences including team members, management, and external vendors. Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate software applications, manage files, and access online information. Proficient in email communication and internet navigation.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel for business purposes is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is advantageous.

The minimum pay for this position is $16.01+, determined by the applicant's qualifications and experience.
