About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team at Telcom Construction, LLC. As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and productivity of our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with outside services, such as subcontractors, and management to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Organize equipment, materials, and labor to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Verify the accuracy of locates, materials, and other project-related information.
  • Flag projects, determine running lines off permits, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintain quality control reports and update schedules and Field Supervisors on a daily basis.
  • Support Supervisors and Foremen in monitoring and enforcing all company and outside required safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and complete necessary paperwork regarding employee accidents and injuries, in conjunction with Safety.
  • Maintain and properly document DOT paperwork.
  • Manage materials using a spreadsheet and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Previous telecommunications work experience, with experience running crews preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have knowledge of quality processes and be familiar with a variety of safety programs.
  • Must be proficient with Google Suite, database software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as on a team with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and customers.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
  • Class A CDL is a plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders).
  • Regular out-of-town travel as required.
