Job Description

Aviture is seeking an experienced quality assurance engineer to be part of a cross-functional software development team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to determine product quality and release readiness standards.
  • Create and manage automated test suites to ensure software quality.
  • Work with various QA/Testing tools and technologies, including JIRA, Azure DevOps, Appium, and Azure TestPlans.
  • Test Web, Web Service/API, and Mobile software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Research and analyze product features being tested to identify potential issues.
  • Participate in the elaboration of user stories and associated acceptance criteria.
  • Review User Interfaces for consistency and functionality.
  • Develop and execute test plans to discover bugs and quality issues within the software.
  • Record test progress and results, and analyze testing metrics to determine systemic issues and trends.
  • Cross-pollinate and instill a 'test infected' mindset upon the development team.
  • Perform generalized tasks as needed to work as a part of a cohesive team towards achieving Sprint goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and latest advancements in software QA.
  • Drive innovation and streamline the overall testing process within the team and the company at large.
  • Assist in the creation of company-wide guidance and policy concerning quality assurance.
  • Demonstrate significant initiative, persistence, and the ability to work well as part of an empowered delivery team.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical resources.
