Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for solar energy projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
  • Conduct site visits to assess electrical system requirements and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical design and solar energy technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in electrical design, with a strong understanding of AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Experience with Draftsight CAD software is preferred, but Solidworks or similar CAD software experience is also acceptable.
  • General understanding of electrical codes and standards, including NEC and NFPA.
  • Knowledge of renewable resources and solar power electrical design is highly valued.
  • Ability to work in the United States, with a valid work authorization.
  • Ability to complete standard pre-hire checks, including background checks and drug screens.
