Job Title: Controls Engineer

At Venteon, we are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation systems for our manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and pneumatic systems for automation systems
  • Develop Bills of Material for electrical designs and update them as needed
  • Coordinate with project management to ensure accurate and up-to-date drawings, manuals, and sequence of operation
  • Develop and review electrical and fluid drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Design and develop PLC software programs and HMI screens to customer specifications
  • Provide product improvement suggestions and customer feedback to project management
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Controls Engineer
  • Experience with 2D AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical is a must
  • Knowledge of EPLAN is a plus
  • Strong familiarity with Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, and HMIs
  • Familiarity with various drives, robots, welding systems, and other current relevant technologies
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Robot programming experience is valued
