In this role, you will work alongside ENGEO's seasoned Geotechnical Engineers and Geologists, our Construction Services Representatives, fellow team members, contractors, and clients to address challenges and ensure seamless project execution.

Essentially, you will engage with all parties involved in a geotechnical project on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field geotechnical engineering observation tasks for ENGEO projects under the mentorship of leading geotechnical engineers and geologists, including exploratory logging, deep foundation construction, shoring installations, ground improvement, grading operations, and more.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, city inspectors, project managers (both locally and across regional offices), and other internal team members.

Perform well-defined analytical and project administrative duties with guidance and support from project management. Manage the transportation and delivery of samples for laboratory analysis as required. Utilize GIS technology and mobile devices to create precise and detailed documentation during testing and observation activities. Gradually learn more complex, non-routine tasks with oversight from experienced engineers and geologists.



Candidate Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Civil, Geological Engineering, or Mining Engineering (mandatory)
  • Comfortable spending the majority of work hours outdoors at project sites
  • Personal vehicle for accessing job sites
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse environment
  • Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team while also being resourceful when working independently in the field
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Ideal Candidate:
  • 1-3 years of professional/relevant internship/field experience
  • Aspiring to pursue a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and soil mechanics
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and growth
