Position Overview
The Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of designated bottling lines to ensure the effective and efficient completion of production schedules while adhering to safety, quality, budgetary, and regulatory standards.
This role involves providing technical support to operators and line personnel, coordinating essential maintenance activities to uphold production quality and efficiency, and collaborating with the Bottling Manager and maintenance team to implement operational and mechanical enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all OSHA and company safety regulations and policies.
- Report safety concerns, accidents, and near misses immediately.
- Participate in safety inspections and training programs.
- Supervise and train assigned bottling line employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Motivate and manage team members to produce high-quality products in line with quality and efficiency standards.
- Evaluate employee performance and identify areas for skill improvement, developing plans to address these needs.
- Create a personal development plan in collaboration with the Bottling Manager to enhance skills and competencies.
- Continuously strive to improve processes, products, services, and workplace culture.
- Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies and Practices.
- Analyze and resolve product quality issues promptly to minimize rework.
- Provide input on equipment capabilities and capital expenditure needs.
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Ensure defect-free products are scheduled, produced, and shipped on time to meet customer demand.
- Track efficiencies, quality, and production data to enhance yields and throughput without compromising quality.
- Address issues identified through climate surveys to foster a positive workplace environment.

- Ensure all bottling operations comply with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and TTB regulations, taking corrective action as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office products, is essential. A working knowledge of high-speed bottling equipment and strong planning and organizational skills are also necessary for success in this role.
