Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Heaven Hill Brands in Bardstown, KY. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and reduce costly repairs
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and identify root causes of problems
  • Assist in line changes and process improvements to enhance production efficiency
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment
  • Clean and lubricate equipment, change fluids, and replace parts as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing, and facilities
  • Monitor and control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques
  • Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Journeyman's Card
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance technician role, preferably in manufacturing with experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and reliable individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques
  • Previous experience in the distilled spirits industry
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects, and use computer
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb ladders/catwalks/equipment, stoop, bend, and/or crawl
  • Ability to work at elevated heights more than 5 feet above floor level
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 80 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to identify color and have adequate near vision to read gauges, controls, knobs, levers, and CRT's
