Job Overview

We are in search of a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated team at PARS Therapy. This role is essential in providing exceptional home health care to our patients.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with patients to enhance their mobility and overall quality of life. Your contributions will be vital in facilitating recovery and rehabilitation through personalized treatment plans.

Position Type: PRN

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and address patients' individual goals and requirements.
  • Deliver assigned physical therapy services in accordance with the established care plan under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement effective treatment strategies aimed at improving patient mobility and reducing reliance on medications.
  • Design and execute tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care and progress.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications:

  • Valid PTA Certification in the state of Texas.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse patient personalities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current treatment methodologies.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with patients and explaining treatment processes.
