Summary

We are seeking a dedicated educator to enhance our dynamic infant/nursery team. Our nursery program caters to children aged four to 24 months.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to integrate into our supportive professional culture and embrace our Reggio-inspired philosophies and practices.

We are pleased to offer a $1,000 signing bonus to attract a qualified candidate.

Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will work an 8-hour daily shift alongside a co-teacher and teacher's aides. Your role will involve designing engaging 'provocations' based on the interests of the children and your own passions. You will collaborate with our music and art instructors, as well as our Reggio Coach, to provide enriching creative experiences.

Regular reflection with colleagues on children's learning will be essential for planning future steps and creating insightful documentation to share with parents, colleagues, and the children themselves.

Qualifications
We are excited that early childhood education (ECE) is your chosen field. You have a passion for working with infants and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to reflect on all aspects of children's growth and learning.

A college degree and at least one year of teaching experience in any setting are strongly preferred.

We look forward to hearing about your enthusiasm for ECE and your personal interests.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with infants and an understanding of their developmental stages and needs are highly valued.

We are eager to learn about your unique interests and passions, as it is important that you incorporate these into your teaching. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with NAEYC standards, VT Early Learning standards, and the Reggio Emilia philosophy is advantageous, though a willingness to be trained in Reggio-inspired practices is essential.
