Job Title: Senior Civil Project Engineer

At Timmons Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and independently complete assigned engineering designs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Act as a technical expert on assigned projects, providing guidance and support to project team members.
  • Assist the Project Manager in assigning tasks, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
  • Identify and resolve technical, schedule, or financial issues, and communicate effectively with clients and project team members.
  • Prepare and issue project addenda, change orders, and other engineering documents as needed.
  • Participate in the creation of engineering services proposals, including time schedules and costs.
  • Sign and seal engineering documents as an authorized representative of the company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a scientific area, or equivalent work experience.
  • Professionally registered (P.E., L.S.) in one or more states where Timmons Group conducts business.
  • Seven or more years of design/engineering experience, with a demonstrated ability to act as an authorized agent of the company.
  • Strong technical verbal and writing skills, with the ability to read technical literature and engineering plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply professional knowledge to routine and non-routine tasks.
