Job Description

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage projects using relevant software and engineering formulas
  • Prepare specifications and materials for projects, utilizing research and manufacturing catalogs
  • Work with senior engineering staff to complete design details and plan sets
  • Perform research and write objective summary reports for project completion
  • Assist in preparing engineering and construction cost estimates
  • Conduct field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering staff
  • Communicate with clients and internal design teams as directed by senior engineering staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, or a related scientific field
  • Professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group operates
  • 15+ years of experience in civil engineering or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • Thorough understanding of project accounting and ability to manage schedules and budgets
  • Experience in marketing and supervising technical work of others
  • Working knowledge of technical and office support software
  • Professional attitude towards clients and internal staff
  • Effective communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
