Position Overview:

The Senior Customer Service Associate will deliver exceptional service by assisting both internal and external clients, primarily through direct interactions, to fulfill their branch and rental requirements. This role involves acquiring knowledge through comprehensive training and practical experience to provide administrative support, serve customers effectively, and act as a rental backup in a large metropolitan branch or airport setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming inquiries including reservations, rate information, and general customer questions, providing solutions and information to clients, other branches, insurance firms, dealerships, repair shops, and various vendors.
  • Manage outgoing communications for callback management, accounts receivable, and other assigned calls.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service by assisting clients in assessing their rental needs both in person and via phone.
  • Welcome customers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Provide directions and general assistance as needed.
  • Assist in evaluating the condition of rental vehicles upon return.
  • Process vehicle returns, check-ins, and transactions at exit kiosks.
  • Promote the company effectively while ensuring safe and courteous transportation of customers.
  • Communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services clearly.
  • May offer optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other supplementary equipment.
  • Notify management of any known vehicle issues and required maintenance.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as necessary.
  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting tasks such as research and billing support, accounts receivable, transfer and key logs, generating reports, maintaining supplies, and processing customer billing.
  • Carry out miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • Willingness to accept a starting pay rate.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales in retail, guest services, or administrative support is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years is required.
  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions on the driving record in the past 5 years.
  • Must be available to work the designated schedule.
