Position Overview
We are in search of a strategic and enthusiastic professional with a strong background in designing, developing, and assessing educational products. As a Learning Coordinator, your role will be pivotal in nurturing a culture of continuous learning.

IDB Invest offers a diverse array of educational products, including open educational resources, MOOCs, and specialized courses, both online and in-person.

You will be part of the Knowledge and Learning Division (KLD) at IDB Invest.

This division is dedicated to ensuring access to high-quality knowledge and technical learning, which supports corporate processes and accelerates the execution of the organization's operational programs.


Key Responsibilities:


- Assist in managing knowledge and learning projects, including the administrative and logistical components of project activities.

- Aid in the conceptualization, preparation, and execution of educational programs.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and prioritize learning requirements.
- Develop learning objectives, modular frameworks, activities, and educational resources.
- Prepare formative and summative assessments, including open-response assessments and evaluation rubrics.
- Ensure the quality of training materials, such as readings, case studies, practical exercises, guidelines, and rubrics.
- Contribute to aligning courses with Quality Matters (QM) standards.
- Create items, offerings, and surveys, manage participant registrations, and issue certificates within the learning management system.
- Analyze monitoring and evaluation reports.
- Stay informed about emerging learning trends, tools, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Propose innovative strategies for continuous improvement.
- Undertake other relevant activities to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in pedagogy, education, psychology, or a related field.

Advanced degrees or certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), project monitoring (M&E), or e-learning will be viewed favorably.


Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in instructional design or coordinating educational programs. Experience in remote education for public or private sector officials is advantageous.

Language Proficiency:
Proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written, is essential. Knowledge of French and Portuguese is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

Citizenship:
Candidates must be citizens of one of the 48 member countries. Assistance with relocation and visa applications may be provided for eligible dependents.

Consanguinity:

Candidates must not have family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) employed at IDB Invest.
