About the Role:
Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a highly skilled Associate Field Service Representative to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide field service assistance to customers by supporting Eaton field service representatives. The successful candidate will perform installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and electrical power distribution equipment modification tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide field service assistance to customers by supporting Eaton field service representatives.
- Perform installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and electrical power distribution equipment modification tasks.
- Assist office personnel and field service team with assigned tasks.
- Assist with shipping and receiving.
- Perform warehousing and material handling.
- Prepare materials, test equipment, and tools for job success.
- Be responsible for both stock and special order inventory management.
- Maintain records.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation offered. Candidates must currently reside within 50-mile radius of Albuquerque, NM to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree or similar experience in military training.
- Minimum 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience.
- Experience in basic testing and servicing electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable.
- Forklift or industrial equipment operation.
- Experiencing in wiring, reading wiring diagrams, and understanding schematics.
- Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly.
- Works well under time constraints and in stressful situations.
- Collaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlines.
- Problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
