As a leader in the aerospace industry, our customers are central to everything we do.

In this role, the Commodity Buyer will oversee the daily contractual interactions with suppliers, fostering long-term sourcing partnerships. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with customer expectations, contractual obligations, legislative standards, and quality benchmarks throughout the sourcing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with assigned suppliers.

• Formulate and execute a Commodity or Sub Commodity Strategy.

• Collaborate with existing suppliers or explore new sourcing methodologies aligned with the Commodity Strategy.

• Identify new suppliers that fit within the Commodity Strategy framework.

• Achieve annual cost-saving targets for the commodity while fulfilling contractual commitments, including negotiating Long-Term Agreements to support the established commodity strategy.

• Drive Purchase Price Variance (PPV) performance and implement associated improvement initiatives.

• Conduct negotiations and renegotiations of long-term agreements with suppliers.

• Ensure governance and ownership of Long-Term Agreements for your designated suppliers.

• Prepare requests for quotations, analyze responses, and implement changes to optimize Total Acquisition Cost in accordance with the Commodity Strategy.

• Recommend and initiate supplier changes as necessary.
