Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our Specimen Operations Team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in the receipt, identification, and processing of biological specimens. You will work closely with our team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory operations. Responsibilities

As a Laboratory Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing biological specimens
  • Verifying specimen identification and labeling
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Performing various laboratory duties, including supply inventory and cleaning
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient laboratory operations


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory functions and medical terminology
