The Sanitation Team Leader will play a pivotal role in the sanitation division, striving to uphold world-class standards at our facilities. This position will guide, inspire, and cultivate team members to achieve exceptional performance through effective coaching and constructive feedback, fostering a collaborative environment. Additionally, the leader will engage with third-party auditors to facilitate food safety assessments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks and assess the efficiency of daily sanitation procedures in accordance with customer, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Enforce safety and food safety regulations.
  • Educate, nurture, and motivate the sanitation team to reach optimal performance outcomes.
  • Coordinate schedules to ensure sufficient workforce coverage.
  • Verify that all equipment has undergone proper sanitation.
  • Complete daily sanitation logs and necessary shift documentation.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of sanitation equipment.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to fulfill business objectives set by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and third-party audit criteria is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while effectively prioritizing and planning work activities.

Shift: 1st Shift Hours, Friday-Monday, 10-hour shifts.
