About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Analyst to join our Risk Management team at Lennar Homes. As a Claims Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the financial assets of our company by analyzing, advising on, and managing Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Property, Builders Risk, and Auto claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Claims Activity: Oversee Workers Compensation claim activity from initial claim notice to claim conclusion, ensuring timely return to work and coordinating with Benefits, Payroll, and Human Resources.
  • General Liability and Property Claims: Assist the Director of Risk and business teams in handling General Liability, Property, Builders Risk, and Auto claims nationwide.
  • Third-Party Administrator Management: Manage the daily activity of Third Party Administrators and/or adjusters with respect to all claims.
  • Claims Analysis and Resolution: Analyze claims, interpret insurance policies, and direct strategy on claim resolution in coordination with the Legal Department.
  • Claim Settlements: Evaluate and authorize claim settlements within given limits of authority.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Legal Department and business teams on updates, claim information requests, and recommendations.
  • Incident Reporting and Review: Review and track Incident Reports, follow up for additional information, and make recommendations to the Director of Risk on insurance programs that may be triggered.
  • Loss Trend Analysis: Prepare monthly claims reports and identify loss trends.
  • Loss Run Review and Analysis: Assist with loss run review and analysis.
  • OSHA Logs Maintenance: Maintain Workers' Comp-related OSHA Logs (OSHA 300) for all required business teams and distribute annually pursuant to OSHA guidelines.
  • Department Support: Assist the Director of Risk Management in day-to-day operations as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or related experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in claims management.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of a Captive Insurance Company preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills required. Experience with Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Autonomy/i-Manage HP a plus.
  • Travel and Work Environment: Travel required. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job.
