Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Dunbar Community Counseling Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver intensive family-oriented therapy services to individuals with mental health disorders and emotional disturbances.
  • Collaborate with treatment providers and serve as a liaison to placement agencies, Wrap-Around services, schools, and foster homes to ensure an integrated approach to treatment.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, including progress notes and other documentation, in accordance with accreditation and licensing standards, managed care expectations, and agency policy.
  • Provide individual and family counseling services to assigned caseload on a daily basis.
Requirements:
  • Ability to identify problems, secure relevant data, generate alternative courses of action, and reach conclusions based on thorough analysis and reasoning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation guidelines set by the state, managed care, and agency policies.
