We are seeking a skilled Middle Office Trading Assistant to contribute to our operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate efficiency and possess strong multitasking abilities while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
This position offers a unique chance to engage with a diverse range of products, particularly focusing on equities, within a middle office framework that is continually expanding and adapting. This environment fosters significant personal development opportunities for driven individuals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee trade capture for all products, including derivatives across equities, credit, rates, and FX.
- Support Portfolio Managers in monitoring risk platforms and resolving any issues that arise.
- Supervise affirmation platforms to ensure accurate risk and booking records.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations teams to guarantee proper trade allocation and settlement.
- Manage trade affirmation processes on matching platforms.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for investors and internal stakeholders.
- Drive process enhancements by identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and assisting in the implementation of new procedures.
- Oversee control functions, including reconciliations, breaks, and end-of-day checks.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Middle Office role.
- Proficient understanding of equity options, including trade capture, PnL, risk, and greeks.
- Knowledge of corporate actions is advantageous.
- Strong familiarity with the trade lifecycle and associated controls.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal is preferred.
- Programming skills (Python, VBA) are a plus.
SALARY RANGE:
$105,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
