About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Trade Support Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of trade operations and settlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day trade operations and settlements, ensuring accuracy and swift resolution
  • Run trader P&L, trade capture, and validation
  • Analyze and resolve trade discrepancies across internal systems and external counter parties
  • Monitor daily excess/deficits activity
  • Support the Equity Front Office desks within a trade confirmation/settlements capacity
  • Review and resolve failing trade activity
  • Investigate and resolve cash and stock reconciliation issues
  • Maintain superior client service skills (internal and external clients)
  • Address settlement/position discrepancies; escalate to appropriate desk/Manager for prompt resolution
  • Adhere to all rules, regulations, and procedures that govern this role and organization
Requirements
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Structured Equity Derivatives
  • An overall knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products (exotic derivatives a plus, i.e., IRS, FX, Futures)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
  • Experience working as Prime Brokerage trading support/operations
  • Minimum of 4 years of Middle Office/Operations experience - previous TA experience preferred
  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience
