Aquatic Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Aquatic Program Manager to join our team at Beaufort County. As a key member of our recreation team, you will be responsible for instructing aquatic classes, preparing course objectives, and evaluating students and courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct aquatic classes, including swimming instruction and water safety instruction
  • Prepare course objectives and lesson plans
  • Evaluate students and courses
  • Work under general supervision in a specialized area of recreation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in high school
  • One year of experience in aquatics, including swimming instruction, water safety instruction, lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR
  • Valid Lifeguard certification, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certifications from the American Red Cross
  • Basic communication, comprehension, and math skills
  • Valid driver's license
