Job Summary

RHA Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Direct Support Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our residential services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Direct Support Employees, ensuring the highest level of care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of Direct Support Employees, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Manage Residential Homes/Facilities: Responsible for the management of residential homes/facilities, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Resolve Employee Issues: Address employee issues and conduct performance reviews to ensure that employees are meeting the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure Training Requirements: Ensure that employees meet training requirements and attend required events to maintain their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide After-Hours Coverage: Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation, ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive 24/7 support.
  • Monitor and Provide Feedback: Monitor and provide feedback to employees on their interactions and relationships with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Implement Services and Supports: Help to implement services and supports that will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, Associate Degree in a health-related area preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
  • Certifications: CPR certification required, NCI and/or MedTech certification a plus.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
