We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Professional to join our team at Cedarhurst of Bloomington community. As a Medication Aide Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct resident care services, including medication distribution and vital sign monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings to discuss resident progress and develop strategies for improvement.
- Assist with resident evaluations, including assessments and documentation.
- Provide timely interventions to address changes in resident condition and communicate with care staff and family members as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; current state certification for Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- At least one year of related work experience in senior care preferred.
- Ability to work well with others, take direction from management, and take initiative to ensure resident needs are met.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting/moving up to 50lbs independently and up to 200lbs with assistance.
