RN - Heart/Lung Transplant Specialist

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Heart and Lung Transplant team. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing heart and lung transplants, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum one year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
