The Site Supervisor - Community Outreach Specialist will oversee the daily operations of the MPS VRP program in Milwaukee. This includes working with the Co-Program Director to manage requirements related to the program, such as data management and reporting, personnel, relationships with MPS leadership and the Safety Director, required goals, and performance metrics.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and person-centered skills, with the ability to multitask, organize, and assist others in implementing procedures and practices. They must also be sensitive to cultural, ethnic, and disability issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Co-Program Director with information for the 90-day and annual performance reviews of all staff.
- Provide daily supervision of all staff assigned to the Supervisor at the MPS school, ensuring daily check-ins, on-site supervision, and timely documentation.
- Communicate with all school staff to ensure ongoing referrals to the program, address problems, and receive feedback from teachers, safety staff, administration, guidance, social workers, and school psychologists.
- Report all issues to the Co-Program Director.
- Provide weekly updates to the program leadership (Co-Program Director and Director of Milwaukee Youth Services).
- Approve all timesheets for staff assigned to the Site Supervisor, ensuring collaboration with the Co-Program Director to approve requests for time off to ensure coverage at the assigned school.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
- Two years minimum of experience with justice-involved youth, reporting, quality assurance, and strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, including typing and ability to use Microsoft programs, databases, etc.
- Advanced organization skills
- Ability to display cultural competence by responding respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures, languages, classes, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and other diversity factors
- Valid driver's license, automobile, and insurance sufficient to meet agency requirements
- Meet all employee requirements, including references, criminal and caregiver background checks, drug tests, and driver's record checks
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
