Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
  • Support individuals with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Take initiative to help individuals be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
  • Expand your knowledge of psychology by supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.

Requirements

  • No experience required.
  • No high school diploma required.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
  • Gain experience in: Social Work, Healthcare, Psychology, Human Services, Nursing, Alcohol and Drug Counseling, Education, Child Development, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Mental Health.
