We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at QSAC, Inc. This role is responsible for providing individualized support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Assist individuals in developing and maintaining relationships and promoting their health, safety, and emotional well-being.
- Implement and adhere to established treatment plans, ensuring person-centered supports and honoring the unique personality, preferences, culture, and strengths of each individual.
- Transport individuals in agency vehicles as needed, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Commit to company values and adhere to policies, upholding the standards set by the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) Code of Ethics.
- Maintain all required certifications and report problems and concerns to supervisors immediately.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record is highly preferred.
- Competitive salary – Dependent on work experience & valid Driver's License.
