Job Description

As a Nurse Manager 2 in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Oregon Health & Science University, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care while managing a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure high-quality patient care and positive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data to track patient progress and program effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Five years of experience as a registered nurse in a related clinical area, including two years of formal or informal management/leadership experience.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills essential.
