Company Overview: SIGMA DESIGN is a precision machine shop and manufacturing facility specializing in CNC Machining, Fabrication, and Assembly for diverse sectors including Aerospace, Electronics, Medical Equipment, and Industrial Manufacturing.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $25 - $27 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties including payroll processing, banking, accounts payable, job costing, and labor ticket entry.
  • Manage incoming calls across multiple lines and utilize intercom systems as necessary.
  • Welcome and direct visitors and clients.
  • Handle payment processing, deposits, office supply orders, and document filing and scanning.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to manage Certificates of Conformance, link quotes to purchase orders, and track vendor order statuses.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance department with file management, document updates, and training to become a QC Auditor.
  • Participate as a member of the safety committee, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
  • Propose and implement process improvements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in accounting or three years of relevant experience in payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Job costing experience is advantageous but training will be provided.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks, Visual Mfg.) and possess strong mathematical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Commitment to quality, service, and continuous improvement while maintaining respect and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Must pass a post-offer background check.

Work Environment: Standard office environment with typical office-related conditions.
