ROLE PURPOSE & REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising various subdivisions within our residential plumbing sector. This role requires effective communication with builders, field staff, and administrative personnel to ensure the successful execution of projects.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)

Education

· A high school diploma or GED is essential for this role.

Experience

· Candidates should have one to three years of relevant industry experience.

· Prior experience in liaising with builders and contractors is necessary.

· Supervisory experience and familiarity with plumbing codes are required.

· A valid Driver's License is mandatory, along with compliance with the organization's vehicle operation standards.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

· Excellent communication skills are vital.

· Timely responses to various forms of communication are expected.

· Strong attention to detail and administrative capabilities are crucial for managing paperwork efficiently.

· Effective time management skills are essential for prioritizing tasks.

· Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and email systems, is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conduct thorough pre and post-project evaluations to ensure job sites are prepared.

· Generate punch lists as necessary.

· Notify builders and the operations team if a job site is unprepared for commencement.

· Complete pre-walks for various project phases before subcontractors arrive.

· Maintain open communication with builders regarding any arising issues.

· Foster relationships with builders to promote successful future projects.

· Finalize post-walks within 1-2 days after subcontractors complete their work.

· Create work orders for any issues identified during post-walks.

· Submit purchase requests for necessary materials following project phases.

· Oversee daily installation schedules provided by the operations team.

· Collaborate with builders to enhance work efficiency at job sites.

· Escalate any significant issues to the appropriate management contacts.

· Travel to various job sites as required.

· Attend office meetings as needed.

· Verify subcontractor purchase orders.

· Address daily challenges on job sites promptly.

INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS

· Collaborate effectively with department management, builders, and subcontractors.

· Engage with clients professionally, upholding high ethical standards.

· Maintain professional interactions with Hallway Plumbing employees and external contacts.

· Work collaboratively with all employees to maximize operational effectiveness.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry items for a distance of at least 50 feet.

· Capable of utilizing various transportation methods to reach job sites.

DECISION-MAKING & JUDGMENT

· Exhibit sound judgment in daily administrative functions.

· Provide informed advice to management regarding priorities and critical issues.

· Escalate issues beyond the scope of this role in a timely manner.

· Maintain confidentiality regarding customer and company information.

· Seek guidance from appropriate organizational members as needed.

PLANNING & TIME MANAGEMENT

· Demonstrate the ability to prioritize high-level administrative tasks effectively.

· Utilize work hours productively to enhance efficiency.

· Be prepared to invest additional time as necessary to meet project demands.

· Regularly monitor and respond to all communications received.
