The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Alameda seeks a skilled Major Gifts Officer to drive major gift fundraising efforts and develop strategic partnerships with donors, foundations, and corporations.
Compensation Package: $71,250 - $75,250/year
This is a full-time, contract position with regular hours. As a Major Gifts Officer, you will play a critical role in securing major gifts to support our organization's mission and programs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive major gift strategies to secure gifts from individual donors, foundations, and corporations.
- Cultivate and steward existing donors and prospects to build strong relationships and increase giving potential.
- Analyze fundraising data to inform strategy and optimize results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of fundraising initiatives.
- Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities to identify new major gift prospects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven track record of successful major gift fundraising and donor relationship building.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
