Therapist/Counselor (Master's) Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist/Counselor (Master's) to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center in East Tennessee. As a Therapist/Counselor, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment to clients and families in our clinics and community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose clients' mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based therapies and interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification
  • Experience working with diverse populations and presenting issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
