About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist / Counselor (Master's) to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center in East Tennessee. As a Master's level mental health professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and families, providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment in outpatient and crisis settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans to address their unique challenges.
  • Provide evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family therapy, to promote positive change and growth.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, including schools, hospitals, and social service agencies, to promote seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with mental health populations, preferably in an outpatient or crisis setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
