Position Overview

Role: Branch Manager

Reports to: Chief Retail Banking Officer

Supervises: Tellers/Assistant Manager

A Branch Manager plays a crucial role in effectively overseeing the operations of their branch and leading the staff to provide outstanding customer service. This position holds accountability for all customer engagements at the branch level, which includes, but is not limited to, account management, customer retention, new customer acquisition, various lending products, and overall branch administration. Prior experience in management is highly desirable for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with the establishment of deposit accounts and various loan applications while ensuring a superior level of customer service;
  • Manage branch resources and personnel, providing coaching and mentorship as necessary;
  • Ensure strict compliance with all banking regulations and procedures during transactions and requests;
  • Achieve sales targets as established by upper management;
  • Oversee teller functions and provide assistance as required;
  • Undertake various branch responsibilities as defined within the bank's operational framework, along with any additional tasks assigned by management;

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals;
  • Comprehensive understanding of general banking operations;
  • Familiarity with lending processes is advantageous;
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities;
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality;
  • Knowledge of banking laws and regulations;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the capability to learn new software applications;
