Role Overview:


We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist (LFMT) to become a vital part of our team in Eagle River, Alaska.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering client-centered therapy that assists individuals, couples, and families in overcoming their distinct challenges.

Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients towards healthier relationships and enhanced mental well-being.

Key Duties:
1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify clients' needs, strengths, and aspirations.
2. Develop and execute tailored treatment strategies utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
3. Provide ongoing therapy sessions addressing a range of issues, including relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic care.
5. Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.
6. Engage in supervision, team discussions, and professional growth opportunities to enhance your skills and stay updated with best practices.
7. Participate in outreach and community education initiatives to promote mental health awareness and increase service accessibility.

Required Qualifications:
1. Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or behavioral health environment.
3. Proficient in conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
5. A deep commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
6. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer proficiency.
