Job Title: Clinician I - CVN Fellow

Alaska Behavioral Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Clinician I - CVN Fellow to join our team at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic in Fairbanks or Anchorage, Alaska.

About the Role

This is a full-time, exempt position that offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $77,649, with the potential for up to $18,000 in incentives. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based treatment and assessment for veterans, service members, and their families, working under the supervision of a licensed clinician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, family, and/or child psychotherapy to clients, focusing on delivering evidence-based treatments.
  • Conduct clinical intake assessments on incoming clients and perform and document client screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, and progress and referral information.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the larger clinical team to provide the best care to clients.
  • Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
  • Provide services via telehealth platform, as required.
  • Engage fully in clinical training opportunities provided.
  • Practice in an ethical, evidence-based, and culturally responsive manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited program in a therapy/counseling field, including social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling.
  • Have and maintain a current associate license to practice psychology, social work, counseling, and/or marriage and family therapy under supervision, in keeping with state- and discipline-specific requirements.
  • A minimum of one year of practicum/internship experience during graduate school providing clinical services to adults, children, couples, and/or families is required.
  • Knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnoses is required.
  • Experience in the diagnosis and/or treatment of common disorders such as PTSD, MDD, and GAD is preferred.
  • Experience working with military populations and/or veterans is strongly preferred.
